Ayda is a girl living in a world where, the second you're born, you are born with a prophecy that explains the main course your life will take. Ayda is 17, and living on the streets with a 13 year old boy named Rio. Scared of dying from starvation, she asks a lone sailor if she and Rio can travel on his boat with him, and travel around the nearby Islands, which are filled with creatures of all kinds, like sea creatures and giants. Very quickly the trio get a job trying to collect seven treasures, and Ayda is more than happy to do it since it will help repay the sailor who (begrudgingly) let them live on his boat. But while this trio doesn't get along at first, as they travel the world, they start to like and depend on each other. Which is exactly what they'll need to do when their world that originally only suggested you listen to your prophecy suddenly starts turning against those that don't. The only problem is, Ayda doesn't want to listen to her prophecy. Because if she does, she's destined to die..
