Frisk has freed the monsters of the Underground. Finally, monster kind is allowed to return to the surface. It's been 3 years since then. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really? It's not easy to not be haunted by things in the past. Especially when those things from the past just won't stop coming back. They won't stop coming back, and they won't stop trying to steal your future. Not unless you try to fight for it. So, this is a Frisk x Sans story that I had originally written over on Deviantart. She was turning 16, the age where she'll be able to help her parents with royal duties, and get more privileges, when her younger sister, Frisk, goes missing. Y/N's life falls apart, while her mother heartbroken, and her father started to ignore her. Not having a great life, she decides to run away, learning about the hard life of being a citizen. Having to live on the complete opposite side with poverty, she learns she has to hide, and everyone isn't what they seem. Not even her.
