im·mor·tal. living forever; never dying or decaying.
im/mortal. i'm mortal.

The gods live among us. They pass us in the streets, there one moment and gone in the next. How lonely it must be, to see what has become of their homes; their legends; themselves. The tragedy of mortality pressed into immortality. They are ruins, and crumbling pillars, and rusted gold.

They are forgotten, but we love them anyway.

A collection of poems for the immortals, for the gods and creatures that walk amongst us - and for their lovers.
