The Story of Alison

'I held my breath. It was the only thing I could do. After a few seconds the weight of the dirt on top of me became fatal. It was sucking the air out of my lungs. I wanted to scream. Scream so badly. But I knew it would be deadly. The air was too valuable. I couldn't let it out. Then came a panic attack. Suddenly every muscle in my body starting twitching. My head was spinning. It felt like I was falling. My arms started moving. Trying to loosen the dirt. Trying to reach the surface. My brain wasn't thinking. My body was just doing. It was hopeless. I would die. This was the end. The end of Alison DiLaurentis. The next thing I felt was a cold feeling around my fingers. It felt like cold water. I was hallucinating. Suddenly somebody grabbed my hand. It wasn't water, it was air I was touching. The person pulled on me and shoved the dirt out of the way. Only a few seconds later my lungs filled with air again.'
