Prehistoric Planet II: We're Past It
That's right it's gotten a sequel. When I was re-reading the first one, I thought to myself "this is awful" from the names to the plot to the everything about it was just meh. So instead of recreating the whole thing I decided to build of of it instead! You are unfortunately going to have to read the first one to understand this, I am truly sorry. Greg, Jordan, and Jodie return to the island as well as a few other people (albeit after some bribing from Tony) all in a search party to find T.J Once they've returned to the island they realised that things obviously aren't right, the place was meant to be a herbivorous Dino wonderland after the events of the first book, but instead they're greeted with a Tropeagnathus atop of the jet they're aboard, and it topples the plane into the treetops. After this, everyone realises they're stranded, and have to, well, survive. But a certain crocodillian-like theropod threats to deplete their chances as well as several rough encounters with many other dinosaurs. How many will survive? Well you'll have to read to find out. Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. ThunderCats: A Nipping Catastrophe!
(Also found in my Deviantart and Fanfiction accounts.) "Tygra!" He calls his name for the one thousandth time, and it catches his attention this time. "What in the name of Thundera is wrong with you?!" Tygra's happy moment has been interrupted. He glares at Panthro, and the Panther could've sworn he sees the tiger's ears slightly flattening. Another rare thing. "Mine." He growls, hugging the batch of catnip he happens to be cuddling with. "This is getting awkward." Panthro decides to to take Snarf's advice. He attempts to pull his friend out of "harms" way, but when he reaches for for him, Tygra goes tiger mode. His ear completely flattens against his head and his upper lip curls as he growls... a real growl that startles the panther. "Whoa!" he takes a quick step back in disbelief. "Yep. Catnip's bad. Now he's bearing his teeth at me! What's next?! A roar?! This is unlike him at all! Not unless he's completely enraged!" "Snarf... I told you! I told you about that plant!" Snarf mews as he gets to his feet, crossing his arms. "But no. Nobody ever listens to old Snarf." --------------------------- The ThunderCats are just having another normal day at their lair. As usual, they'll be expected to chase after the Mutants, beat up the mummy guy, and claim victory once more. But this time, Mumm-ra has a new trick up his sleeve that may drive the heroes to chaos.. but he's not getting involved with the fight. The felines wake to only discover a strange plant growing around their lair. This time, their curiosity will get them for sure. So what happens when they discover catnip?
