My name is Angel White. At 15, I found my mate. That wasn't supposed to happen for another 2 years. He didn't know I was his, which made running that much easier.

Angel White wasn't rejected by her mate. But she knew that if he had known, he surely would've beat her before rejecting her. Angel's pack blamed her for the death of their last third in command. Her parents and twin brother beat her behind closed doors, and the pack treated her like trash.
She was only going to put up with it until she found her mate, hoping he would love and protect her. How unlucky could she be to be mated to the future alpha who also took pleasure in beating her?
Angel realized she was somewhat different from the other wolves, and different could be dangerous for her. So she did the only logical thing she could: she ran. She didn't know if she'd ever see her former pack again, but she sure as hell wouldn't miss them.
