Operation Thanatos

From an elite institution, the young woman known as Theta recruits eight others to be part of a research project that nobody believes can yield results. Nevertheless, Theta intends to try and so begins Operation Thanatos.

But as they begin to make breakthroughs and their goal no longer seems so impossible, powerful people start to turn their attention to the project. Some want to control it. Some only want the results. Some want to stop it completely.

As if that were not enough to contest with, each of the team has their own private reasons for wanting to summon Death.
