Melanin Lovett a 16 yr. Old girl from Yonkers,NY who sees life and love as a ghetto playground. With a wealthy but unsupportive mother and no clue as to who her birth father is, Melanin finds herself trapped between an abusive relationship with her longtime girlfriend named corynn, the sexual abuse from stepfather Anthony, and the unwilling efforts her mother puts in to ignore her every chance she gets.
