So a couple days ago I was just browsing Pinterest for some short story ideas, when I came across one I really like. It's just for fun and to improve my writing skills, so you don't have to add it to your reading lists or anything like that. There will surely be a lot of grammar mistakes and such things, but smeh heck with it! #Iwannabetheverybest

--So much on this earth is a miracle. But we fail to see them -- Two friends. One ceremony. One terrible accident. The Best Kept Secret!
They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was. The Contract
Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. One sentence can change everything. Furthermore one sentence can determine your role. Friend? Or stranger? May made a mistake in her 2nd year of middle school. She accidentally told Drew something she shouldn't have. And then she lied to him, causing him to change into the man he is now. They are now in highshcool. But they are farther apart than the Sun and Earth. Their paths haven't crossed since then...and it seems like, they will never cross again. But some people just wouldn't let it end there.
