Sol, an unusually privileged girl growing up in 1920's NYC, has just learned that her brilliant physicist & mechanical engineer older sister has been placed in a mental institution by her husband. This isn't the only shock to rock young Sol's world as she realizes why her sister, as raving as she seems, was actually locked away.  Discovering her sister's incredible invention rockets her into danger, but she knows she must keep the time machine out of her brother-in-laws hands at all costs.
