Winter: The Lady's Fear

Lady Edith cannot bear to glance at snow any longer. At the very sight of the season of Winter, her heart contracts in a painful manner. This is the snow that snatched away someone she loved dearly. This beautiful yet harsh season filled her heart with a sorrow so deep, she began fearing it. How will she regain her composure as the Queen's Lady? Being caught in tears for a Lady with a rank so high could prove to be rather embarrassing; a strong blow to her reputation. Can Lord Cedric jerk Lady Edith out of her misery and doubts?

Lady Edith wonders. 'White. That's the color that represents snow. White is the symbol of purity, light, and innocence. If this is true, then why did it not serve its purpose on that fateful night?'
