While running down the halls of her high school she accidently bumps into the most popular guy, Blake Ambriz. When Blake suddenly looks up to see who bumped into him he asks for her name wanting to become more than just strangers, but can she stop pushing people out of her life she actually cares about. But oblivious to Blake's question she runs off not wanting to speak to the "player" the boy who dates girls like there is no tomorrow. Just her luck she ends up finding herself to help Blake raise his grades in order to play sports....but there is one thing she is sure about, she will never like the school "player" (Read a couple of lines down)

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.

Senior year of high school is all about living it up and making the most of your final year before stepping into the real world. For Roxie Smith, she just wants to get through the school year. She doesn't mind quietly doing her homework and begin prep for college. High school hasn't been her favorite fun time and she can't wait for summer to roll around again. For her friends and Brad, her boyfriend, however, they really want to leave the school with a bang. They want to be a legendary senior class and they want to go down in history for all the classes after them. Brad comes up with an elaborate plan to take over the school and teachers disguised as the annual senior prank. Roxie knows it's a bad idea. She knows it'll get out of hand. Her friends shun her when she decides to take no part in the take over. None of the teachers believe her when she tries to warn them and she has the whole school against her. Some say senior year is the best. For Roxie, it's going to be a long one.
