Have you ever stuffed up a solo at a concert? Been told you've been playing your instrument wrong despite the fact you've been playing it for eight years? Had a conductor yell in your face because it was meant to be a C SHARP? Talked to your fellow musical geniuses about an instrument you play and then realised they have no idea what a flugelhorn is? I could go on forever. After all, it is a rant book. But that's not the point.
