When Nick Harris moves to town, boring becomes a thing of the past. 

Especially when Thea figures out the sinful man turns into something furry. Alpha King or not, Nick turning into a wolf doesn't end up being the most interesting thing to happen to Thea.

Not only is said wolf her teacher, but he's her mate.

Thea dies a couple of times, runs into a prophet, sees dead people and seems to be the key to either starting or preventing a celestial war between... well, everyone.

Werewolves, when in wolf form, have uncontrollable rage and hunger. They are driven to kill everyone and everything they encounter, regardless of their relationship as humans. The curse causes these wolves to lose all control of their minds, and when they wake up in human form in the morning, they don't remember anything (though they may revisit certain memories in dreams).
