Parker May has never known about the other half, the Sorcerers and Witches of his world. Soon discovering his powers, he is transported to Veil Academy, a pristine school off the coast of Maine, where his mother and father learned (before his fathers untimely disappearance), there he learns about who he is, and the evils that the school is at war with. During his stay, he meets new friends, confronts new enemies, and with his special power that no one seems to have. As the war rages on, the forces, inside and outside the school, will help Parker realize who he truly is.
