His name was Vladimir, like the enigmatic sovereign of Transylvania in 1400 AC. He appeared in the graveyard and set my beliefs and heart on fire; and I didn’t know how he found me, or where he had come from, but I did know that he had changed my life forever. Elisabeth Mason moves to the sleepy countryside of Transylvania to live with her grandmother. Only weeks into her stay, her grandmother passes away unexpectedly and leaves behind a frightening legacy for Elisabeth to discover. On the mysterious night of Halloween, Elisabeth visits the graveyard—and meets the handsome, enigmatic Vladimir. Dark secrets immediately unravel for Elisabeth. She quickly uncovers ancient, dusty family secrets that go as far back as the 1400’s. What she doesn’t realize at first is how connected she is to Vladimir, and the past of Transylvania. Filled with ancient castles, dark and stormy nights, Elisabeth struggles for survival in the Romanian tundra.
