This is something that encouraged me a bit when reading it again. I found an old high school assignment that I saw as slightly pretentious. While it is, it was originally a text conversation with my buddy Chris. You can see it any way you want to after reading it. It's not meant to show off writing. It's meant to just get you to think and feel.

Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger. My life has changed and so have I. I'm ready to take that stand.Concluída
A Collection of Poems
These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated. "Life is but a calling card. A chance, a spiraling sensation of nothing, that with time turns into everything." Know me is a short story. A piece of life written just as it was lived. All of our experiences help us grow along the years. Life never stops, our minds either. Its chaos, and this book treats it as so. There is no specific order to life's events. So, with whatever hand we are dealt, we march on. We learn about ourselves, how we love, how our minds work. We doubt everything. We question our existence in this piece of dirt. 'I hear it in my ear drums. But I can't seem to convince myself that it's real.' I have no idea what I'm doing. Why am I writing this?
