"Charm me." And his smirk was back.
"I don't know if you can handle it." I took a step closer to him so our bodies were nearly touching. I put my finger on his chest and started tracing random things.
"Oh yeah?" He continued to smile as he leaned down closer to me.
"Maybe I should take it slow with you." I stepped onto the tip of my toes and put my arm around his neck drawing him even closer. Our heads were nearly touching and our eyes were locked.
"But I'd rather go fast," I whispered slowly and bit my lip. My eyelashes battered at him. My hand around his neck started playing with his hair and twirling it between my fingers.

His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that?
