Ian Davison is a cynic. For him, it is quite hard to believe that people rarely have selfless reasons for doing the things that they do. He does not believe in promises and neither is he big on trusting people. He struggles at making friends and does he likes getting close to people, other than the ones he has known since childhood.

Never the less, Ian Davison had a way with words and no one could deny he wove magic when he set his pen to paper. This is why no one was really surprised to hear that he had be asked to attend Darleston Publishings Annual Artist's Retreat.

He was just as happy, until she found out who was going to attend the retreat right beside him. The root of all his problems and the reason he does not believe in a man's word anymore....

HIDING - every scar has a story by coffee-an-flowers

Every scar has a story but Cary Douglas isn't talking. SCARS trilogy vol. 1. Cary learned a long time ago that secrets and silence equal survival and he's kept his promise to his family ever since. So when the clean-cut new kid starts paying attention to him at school, it's a problem. Cary is sure he can't afford to care about one more person, but Jon White's persistent kindness is cracking him open. Every smile has a cost and Jon White is tired of paying it. It's never been easy to be the oldest son of Pastor White, and keeping it together when the bully at his new school is in his face every day is almost more than he can do. He has just one question - where is God when everything is shit? - and so far nobody's answering. This is a novel about what happens when the silence breaks - about faith and family, suffering and doubt and the answer to Jon's question. ☆Featured on Wattpad's @ProfileMentalHealth 'A New Day' reading list☆ ☆Winner of the Read4Read Awards Best Teen Fiction☆ SCARS Trilogy book one. This is the introduction to Cary, Jon & Curt and the world of my other novels. Set in 2007 -ish, the guys are 15 and 16 respectively. Cary is straight and the other two aren't saying.
