Hadley Brian has been in jail more often than the average person and is proud to say that she still holds the top average in her entire musical arts program at the University of California. On top of all that, she manages to keep the secret of living under the care of an orphanage. She's been there as far back as she can remember and yet still the only other person who knows is her best friend Mel. Newcomer Zeek, like the typical guy in this neck of the woods, grows attracted to Hadley. But not for her looks or because of her willingness to put out, but for her musical talent and love for life. Unfortunately, there's one part of her that Zeek never saw coming through the front that Hadley puts up. An unexpected run in on a day out brings Hadley to the biggest decision she's ever had to make: let him in, or cast him out. The answer has always been the same but when it comes to Zeek and the unmistakeable pull that he ultimately has on her, she seems to be doing everything differently. No matter what the answer to her problem is, the question still remains whether or not she will throw out the last 18 years of her life never knowing what love really is, and give it a chance long enough to let love win. *references made to writing original songs but I DO NOT OWN THE SONGS AT ALL*
