Ever since Irma's wild minded Mother moved out, leaving her with her confused dad and two older brothers, nothing has been a solid 'Yes' in her life. Loathing her time at boring old WVH public school, the only thing that keeps her going is her quirky best friend Nikki. When their bizarre English teacher, Mr. Nike, asks everyone to write about what the word 'Hero' means to them, Irma finds herself wondering if she even has one.
