Alyssa Torres thought she had forgotten all about James after graduating from high school. James Delegrio, the handsome rascal, had teased her a lot back then. But sometime after university, images of him haunted her dreams for several years like a phantom she could not get rid of. In her dreams, she is able to truly get to know her old flame. For many years, James had filled her nights with sweetness and magic.
In the meantime, Alyssa's love life suffers. The real world seems to pale in comparison to the beauty of their nightly encounters.

Sarah Holmes knew she was unloveable. She had been looked over all her life. Finally thinking she had found love, only to find out that it was a lie. I found my eyes staring at his body, starting from his jaw, to his neck, to his chest, that was visible due to few of his buttons being open but I quickly darted them up to meet his eyes before I would go any below than that. He was already smirking, "Tell me one thing before you leave, Miss Sánchez" he began. "How loud do you think you'll scream, when I have both of your wrists pinned on the bed as I fuck you?" ------------ A certain ginger haired girl, runaway from home, a place where she learned that love isn't something to be given or taken. We learn to interpret nature and the many physical experiences we have day by day, around others who are the protagonists of their own stories. We also learn, however, more about ourselves-our strengths, our weaknesses. Our mind slowly traverses the world in an attempt to learn more about it; such is the voyage of the mind into itself. With this book, Scattered Dreams & Dragonflies, I attempt to delve deep into those tiny bits and fragments our mind recreates when we are at rest-our dreams. I believe our dreams are of high value, as the mind, when we are conscious, constantly restrains itself, adjusting to our maturity and moral compass. By this metric, we are then tied to the constraints of mundane existence; thus, our awareness keeps us tamed and under control. When we sleep, I believe our minds let loose, freeing all our tension, all our wants, all our undeniable truths, failures, and pains. Just like AI, it creates something out of everything we are. Everything we strive to hide from reality, everything we only wish could be possible, everything we feel is impossible-all of it has its space in our minds.
