Carter has a problem; his older brother is acting like a psychopath again, and this time he's decided to kidnap Carter's boyfriend's sister. Now he has to go through trouble to get her back, or risk potential allies, and enemies, getting in harm's way.
Venus is a psychopath; always has been, ever since he wound up on the streets as a child and was raised by criminals. But Venus is no ordinary psychopath--he's got a vendetta against the demon royalty that relates to his own brother's boyfriend. And he won't stop until the family has been exterminated.
Kalliope drew the short straw; she's been kidnapped by her potential brother-in-law, and nobody notices her disappearance, at least until she sends out a signal for help with what little power she has left.
