Loves Me Not
"I may not remember much, but I do know that I had the best time with you last night." Charlie drops his hand from his mouth and lifts his head to stare into my eyes, pushing his hair back from his face at the same time. "And I know this is awkward now, because I'm pretty sure we were both naked together in bed last night..." I choke on air, trying to dispel the imaginary object from my throat. Charlie reaches out and lightly grasps my hand; my eyes slide from our interlocked fingers to his shining pupils. "...but I still wouldn't change a single thing about it. I look away as I withdraw my hand from his grasp, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect.
