To listen and read along go here: http://tmblr.co/Zc25gvgJ0kLh. There's an apocryphal story about Henry Ford's first few lines of cars. Legend has it, Ford once sent his designers out to the junkyard to see what was left of the first few cars that had rolled off the line years earlier. The designers sifted through rubble and found a single part, a gear or a bearing, who can say, that unlike the rest of the car was virtually ravaged by time. When the designers brought it back, Ford's response was unambiguous. "Make this part fall apart with the rest of the car." Fossil is a story about that part, a stubborn piece that refused to break down when it was supposed to, and what happens when it lives to see a world where the next car rolls off the line. This story takes place in the same universe as my short comic "Returning" written by me and with art by Devin Kraft.
