Life One Summer [On Hold]

Aria was looking forward to her usual L.A. style summer before her senior year. But when her parents decide to send her off to live with family friends on a ranch in Colorado for the entire summer she is pissed. Not only is she a complete city girl who dreads to think that anyone sane would wake up willingly at five in the morning everyday, but she also is horrified to find out that the couple in question have five kids all with a point to prove when the new girl invades their territory.
But Aria finds that perhaps a change in scenery might not have been the worst idea in the world. Especially when it comes to matters of the heart concerning a certain handsome cowboy and his all to charming best friend.

"I'll give you a rundown of the Emmons family then:
First and foremost is James and I. James runs the ranch along with a small team of people and I help out as much as I can, when I'm not runnin' the house.
Then there's Alice and Travis the twins of the family, both seventeen, same as you. Travis likes to help out round the ranch during the summer, and Alice, she just likes being Alice.
Then Cody, he's fifteen, and Josh, who's thirteen. Josh is obsessed with superheroes and Cody, well, Cody likes girls." She raised her eyebrows at me, "not that he'd know anything about them.
And finally there's the baby of the family Riley, she's six and pretty much fills most of my time.
There's a few more people you'll meet, but that's the basics when it comes to us Emmons'. We're all sane, most of the time, and though it may be a bit different to what you're used too I'm sure you'll have a great time."
