We all know the classic story of a girl who lost her glass slipper running away from her dreams, and racing back to her sad reality of being a peasant maid for her own step-mother and step-sisters, the only family she has left. Yes, this is a story based on none other than the character of Cinderella. However...this rendition of telling the tale is quite different. This quick-read is all written in the form of haikus; a form of poetry that is written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. In this story, you learn about the lives these characters really lived behind the scenes of the happily ever after that we all know to be. You'll discover rich amounts of character development from minor characters and learn major mic-drops about the major characters. I hope you enjoy reading and visualizing the lives of various characters and what they may have been thinking throughout this story! And it all started with her simply taking off the necklace she should never have taken off.

Living a life out of a fairytale story is really not as it is cut out to be. I mean, Cinderella had to clean up a whole mansion by herself every day. Belle had to put up with a housemate who needed a shaver as much as he needed anger management classes. And don't even let me get started with Snow White and her stepmom's drama. Really, Rapunzel of the 21st century? I would rather be a tree. At least I would be contributing oxygen to the world. -------------------- Arianna had lost track of the number of houses, schools and countries she had moved to in order to run away from her crazy stalker until finally her Dad had just had enough and locked her up in the penthouse of The Tower, a building he owned in the city, with only her flamboyant cousin for company. But one desperate decision to sneak out of the house one night caused her an eventful meeting with Tristan, a mysterious boy, who suddenly seemed to be cropping up all the time after that first meet.
