what good can being a slave bring ? my name is Alexis a 16 year old who was born into this world on a very cold September year 1772 were slavery was a very common thing.... my life for as long as its been so far is filled with pain and misery , true i might have enjoyed a few things about it when my loved ones were around me , but even they are no longer with me ..... I sometimes wonder why this world is cruel but, i have no answers ..... all I know is that the darkness will forever engulf me in it.....
