The team continues to help states catch their killers meanwhile they are assigned an agent whose training to be in the field to shadow them. The new agent is a mystery to the team and must adjust to the field and being in the line of combat. Everyone is still trying to adjust after capturing and being targeted by the hit men. It's no surprise everyone's under stress and now with a new member watching their every move things are certainly not in their favor.

While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. When he was 3 he was placed into a foster system where 4 years later he was adopted by his foster fathers, Sam and Ponk. They already had a son, George, and Alex loved him, they got along really well (at least that's what Quackity thought) When he started High school he fell madly in love with an older boy, Johnathan, although he preferred Schlatt.
