The year is 2086, and the Earth is in ruins. After a long and destructive war between the humans and the androids, the last of humanity is a city built from the skeleton of post-apocalyptic Denver. The Fringe is the last city of the androids, who had finally gained their freedom after their rebellion. A desert separates the two civilizations, and no one has dared to confront each other in 50 years.
Until one day when an android called Prometheus shows up outside of the walls of Eden, with slight amnesia and a mission unwillingly programmed into him by a psychotic serial killer named Silas.
Throughout Prometheus' quest to foil Silas' evil agenda, he meets a human by the name of Eva Short, a hacker/programmer who wants vengeance on Silas for her brother's murder, as well as her best friend Augustus Quarterman.
Together, they will try to do the impossible, defeat Silas.

While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. BOOK 1 From the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed, there were people who didn't agree with it. This included a small group of politicians who called themselves Chaos. They vowed to someday take over America and start over with a utopian society where everyone would have a common goal. They slowly infiltrated the government, filling it with corrupt leaders. They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops.
