Enter Matthias Hartwin, a twenty-year-old boy with a heart of gold. Matthias' specialty is charming his way out of difficult situations. But don't get too caught up in his charms, this boy has a secret he'd like to take to the grave with him. Although, he's not too happy about it, he agrees to help Em find her birth parents-even if it gets him stuck in multiple dangerous situations with her.
