Elynor Alexandra is a twenty one year old collage drop out, living with her disconnected from reality, hippy parents because she is just too desperate and broke to be on her own. Along with a high dosage of cases of anxiety a day, Elynor can't cope with life as easily as the next person. But that's not going to stop her from trying her hardest to become the independent woman she craves to be.

Charlie Ray, twenty four, beaten to the bone with more stress than he can bare and living his life from pay-check to pay-check. He never finished high school, barely making it past eleventh grade. Charlie has had a life full of chaos, and only more waiting for him around the corner.

After his mother died, the only family he known or even probably had besides his dead beat father that left the second the word cancer came out of the Doctor's mouth and a brother he can barley tolerate. After she died he was alone, depressed and utterly broke. With no type of degree to show for, Charlie had no choice but to work odd jobs just to keep himself on his feet. And the best money he could find was competing illegally in the streets, shedding blood nearly everyday for a little cash.

Life gives you things you never thought you needed. And that very need came in the form of something broken that just needed a little mending.

"I need you to be the put together one because I'm so fucked up. You've saved me." He whispers. "Carter, we saved each other." I mutter looking at him through my eyelashes. I lean into him, our lips not even an inch apart. "Sophia we shouldn't..." He looks hesitant. "Please, I need you." I almost started crying. "Please." I mutter one more time, my eyes begging for him. My body needing him. Sophia Carrington. She just moved from New York to California in search of a new life. When her life took a dark turn she's forced to leave everything behind. She just wants to finish her final year of high school, numb to the world, while learning to cope with the trauma she's endured. Carter Marquez. Newly single after being dumped by his girlfriend of two years. After losing his dad in a car accident he's fallen apart. The list of people he trusts is short, he hates letting people in. He's constantly trying to make up for his mistakes of the past, trying to find a new purpose in life. When the two of them collided, they instantly took a mutual disliking to each other. Misunderstandings and a dash of alcohol set a flame between them. Sophia hates the snarky remarks and stupid nicknames that leave his mouth. Carter thinks Sophia is just another trust fund brat. "Can we stop feeling guilty, Amelia? Guilty for all the things that weren't our fault." "We can Leo. Maybe someday." "That day isn't far off Amelia. I'll make sure of it." ___________________________________ There is a lot to think about when you find out your best friend has been raped and murdered. There is even more to think about when you're the last person she saw the night she died. But that's not what caused me to black out in the middle of a rocking party scene, surrounded by all the people I had known all my life. It was when I saw who had killed her. Hilarious, charming, the guy with the perfect quiff, and star quarter-back of the football team. He was loved by everyone. He was the guy you couldn't stay away from. Levi Harrison.
