no ones really sure how it happened, but somewhere along the lines of science partners and lacrosse practices, Scott McCall and Isaac Lahey become best friends.

Isaac, now having a supportive group of friends and a newfound interest in lacrosse, is excited for what his new school, Beacon Hills High School has to offer.

Isaac trusts his friends, of course. but not enough to tell them about the actual source of the bruises on his body or the bags under his eyes.
