Edward Elric has died and Roy Mustang performs human transmutation to try and bring him back. It works for the most part, and Ed is back to life, except for two things. Ed has lost all memory of everything, and Roy has lost his eyesight. Truth then makes a deal with Roy, that if he can get Ed's memory back, he'll get his eyesight back, and he'll get to keep Ed in his arms once again.
