Aya paced back and forth as the phone rung.

Was she doing the right thing?

It had been so long. How would he even respond?

She looked through the window into room 6. Saw the pale hands of its patient and sighed, this was her only option.

She examined her bandaged leg as the phone continued to ring.

"Hello?"

Her breath caught, a lump was building in her throat.
