River Wittle walked down the long corridor of Hogwarts with a single white rose in her hand, desperately looking for the fruit portrait. Once she found it, she hastily tickled the pear, stepping into the room full of the most delightful smells. She walked over to a House-Elf, and bent down to it's level. She whispered something in the elf's large ear, with a small smile on her face. The elf nodded, and the brunette handed over the rose, and stepped out of the room, trying to think of an excuse why she was late for Transfiguration, because she was sure McGonagall wouldn't be too happy with her skipping class just to secretly give a bushy-haired girl a rose.
