River Wittle walked down the long corridor of Hogwarts with a single white rose in her hand, desperately looking for the fruit portrait. Once she found it, she hastily tickled the pear, stepping into the room full of the most delightful smells. She walked over to a House-Elf, and bent down to it's level. She whispered something in the elf's large ear, with a small smile on her face. The elf nodded, and the brunette handed over the rose, and stepped out of the room, trying to think of an excuse why she was late for Transfiguration, because she was sure McGonagall wouldn't be too happy with her skipping class just to secretly give a bushy-haired girl a rose.

Sarah Copper made Fred Weasley's pulse race. There was something about the confidence that did it for him. * * * "So, Sarah - " George began. "We were hoping we could have your help?" Fred continued, draping an arm on the back of the sofa. "Sure! What do you guys need?" Sarah asked, pushing her dark hair out of her eyes. George glanced at Fred, waiting for him to explain. "We need a sleeping draught potion," said Fred. He could see the clocks working in Sarah's mind, weighing out possibilities. Finally, Sarah spoke, "Alright, but I think we already have a problem." Sarah reached into her bag, pulling out 'Advanced Potion making 6'. She opened it to the contents, using her finger to single out the sleeping draught. She turned to the page, her eyes glued to the ingredients. "Ok, I'm going to need an apple, which is the easy bit to get," Sarah began, whilst Fred and George leaned over each shoulder to see the problem. They didn't see anything out of the ordinary. "What's the problem, then?" George and Fred chimed. Sarah smiled slightly, and for a moment, the twins thought they'd convinced her. "We need one Newt's spleen, which I ran out of," Sarah replied, her smile gone. It was replaced by a look of determination, mixed with a hint of excitement. "But, I know where we can find one," Sarah added, her voice as low as a whisper. Fred and George glanced at each other in curiosity, hoping Sarah would go on. "What are you saying?" Fred asked when Sarah didn't say anything. She did snap the book shut in excitement, standing up and stuffing it in her bag. Sarah turned back to the twins, who were also standing. "We're going to steal the spleen from Snape - " Sarah began, but Fred and George already knew how this was going to go. "- We're in!" They exclaimed in unison, causing Sarah to laugh. In which they were complete opposites, but the war had fucked them both up and somehow they find comfort in each other. A Malfoy and a Weasley...what could possibly go wrong? Turns out, a lot of things --- As she stepped back, she simply watched as he lifted a hand to feel on the fresh hickey on the side of his neck. Unlike the other ones, this one would be very visible. Huffing in surprise, he glanced up at her "Full of surprises, aren't you?" Shrugging, she took another step back before turning around and continuing for the direction of the castle. Weasley was still behind her and she called over her shoulder "Keep that one visible, yes? Don't need girls like Susan Bones to get any ideas" "Jealous, little Malfoy?" his voice called after her "Don't call me that" she kept walking "Hold up- did you call me handsome?" As her back was turned to him, she allowed herself to show a tiny smile "As you said, carrot. I'm full of surprises" Later that day, when the sun had finally set and the silence had entered the castle, Leilani was alone in the common room. Her brother was out, god knows where, Theo was with whatever girl he was currently seeing and Pansy was occupied with Tracy Davis in their dorm. As she sat down on the sofa, she let herself sink into it, folding her legs under her. Closing her eyes, she let herself sigh and when she opened them again, Leilani completely froze. There on the dark coffee table were two objects, staring up at her. One she was expecting and one she wasn't. At all. A pink flower and an orange. Fuck.

Philomena Dursley was the perfect daughter, so kind and so bright and oh so ready to lend a helping hand. Her cousin Harry had been taken in begrudgingly by her ever so normal parents and in the years he'd spent there she wasn't quite sure she'd ever seen him genuinely happy. When he'd received his invitation for Hogwarts the School for Wizards, she'd been so happy he had a place where he wasn't outcasted, but when she finally showed her parents that she wasn't watering her plants to make them bloom she surely understood why Harry had never once been happy at home. "You will never do such things again Philomena! I mean it! Never again!" To Miss. Philomena Dursley, whos address is in the attic of the number 4 Privett Drive, vacationing currently in the Weasley Burrow, -Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Oh how wonderful, it seemed another witch had graced the Evans family through their distant daughter Petunia Dursley.
