Alexis Ramirez is a 16 y.o. Junior who gets straight A's and is on the Varsity volleyball team. She lives in a small town outside of Chicago with her mother, stepfather, and 2 siblings.  Her alcoholic biological father left her when she was born. 
Noah Williams  is a 17 y.o. Junior who always has girls chasing after him, but surprisingly he's not like the rest. He only cares to keep his grades up as long as he's eligible to play basketball. The only thing he cares about. He struggles with depression after watching his best friend die right in front of him and finding out something that could change his life forever which causes him not to get close to anyone. 
Will Alexis be willing to throw the relationship with her mom and step dad away for a guy she barely know but somehow found that she really loves? Will Noah be able to not let his depression get the best of him and how will he be able to get those psychotic girls away from the one girl he loves more than anything?
