Far into the future, the human population has atrophied to the point of near extinction. A remnant society searches for some escape from its seemingly inevitable fate, but will the people be able to overcome their own dark nature and protect their legacy?

What is a human? What does it mean to be human in this, our world? That is the question that Ker has to ask himself, after the events that transpired on these fateful days. Just how changing those events were, is something he has to find out. Which path will he choose and how will it change him?

A story that touches the heartbeat of humanity and makes people of all races and backgrounds ask the question is this what The Heavenly creator meant when it was said "Let Us Make Man In Our Image"?

Humanity: The state of being born or categorized a human. What a...laughable term. What does it really mean to be human? Every person in the entire world; they all have their own ideals and opinions on such a matter. And no matter who you ask; the opinions always have many colorful and vibrant variants. He no longer cared for such flimsy opinions. No longer cared for how others would see him for his decisions. They called him hero; then they left him to rot and to die. He would not pander to their...tender sensibilities. Even if that made him inhuman.

For as long as I could remember vampires ruled other humans. I found it that way and I believed that was an injustice. Not like I could do much about it. Once I turned of age, I would be sold as a blood slave, a pet and my life would possibly end. I never liked these creatures to begin with. Adding salt to injury I was bought by a royal vampire, the prince. I cursed the day I was born. Maybe not all vampires were the same, but for humans that was just wishful thinking. (This book has mature mentions, violence, blood, sexual scenes and mature content. Proceed with caution.)

She was banished and broken, everything ripped from her. Sent trudging back to where she came from. The land of humble beginnings. Except...things aren't so humble anymore.
