I averted my eyes feeling heat in my cheeks and hoping that he could not feel it under his fingers. He made a frustrated noise then ducked down and pressed a kiss to the base of my jaw. The fingers previously on my cheek were now tilting my head back.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

I know you've experienced it first-hand. I'm too rough with you I know that. You're just so, so breakable." He whispered the last part in my ear with so much behind it.
"Sometimes I think I want to break you. Just shatter you into tiny pieces." His voice was shaky as he made his confession.
"Do it then." I challenged with guile, devoid of self-preservation.
