The King of Atalanta is outraged when a sudden threat comes to his kingdom. The hunters have invaded his palace, seeking revenge and justice. Terrified beyond reason, the King is aware of the power the enemy holds. The King offers gold and his only daughter to the leader of the hunters, the huntsman, declaring a truce between both sides and putting her heart at risk instead.
