Summary; Kollbaine is fleeing into the frozen north flying as fast as he can away from his own pursuer, when he sees a small moving speck in the distance of a frozen wasteland. There are too many wolves in these parts, and no people. Even as he watches and strains his eyes he sees the need to pour out as much speed as he and Howl can muster. There's a girl ahead surrounded by a pack of wolves, and she's about to be eaten. If they can only make it in time! But he and Howl are both already exhausted and wounded. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood."
