Elizabeth Parker was a gifted woman; her intelligence both impressive and unnerving to the people she encountered in her daily life. Ms. Parker was plagued by odd nightmares at a fairly young age, inhibiting her possibilities for a great life. The night terrors featured a strange terrain, a dying lover and herself - losing her baby over and over again. Unbeknownst to her, her life was about to become threatened in real life, her prospective dark future inadvertently sending warning signals to a stranger.

The premonitory visions experienced by a man of alien ancestry would eventually bring the two together, introducing Elizabeth Parker to a world she never thought to exist.

NOTE: This fic visits some violent acts. A warning will be posted at the top of the chapters this concerns.

NOTE: This is the companion piece to Mnemosyne's Daughter, which I suggest you read if you haven't since it will paint the picture more thoroughly than reading this story alone. ---------- He reaches for the tea cup and shakes his head to himself for the words he's about to speak. "Well, I'm not from around here." She nods, biting her bottom lip. "Where are you from?" With her words a frown develops on her forehead and Max suspects that not only he feels the déja vu this time. "Liz, I'm from another planet." The corners of her mouth twitch as if she is about to smile, but her eyes reflect fear and she too picks up her tea cup. He watches as her hands envelop the cup and he wonders why she doesn't burn herself. Maybe she just doesn't realize that it's hot, her mind on other things. "You're an alien." It's more of a statement than a question but he nods an affirmative anyway. "I know I should be screaming and running out of here or just laugh at you, but I know it's true." He waits for her to continue as her eyes scan the apartment. "We were together." "Yes." "I loved you," she whispers, still not looking at him. It's difficult to breathe and he puts the cup away. His voice is strangled when he answers, "Yes." ------- Summary: Following the alteration to Liz and Maria's memory, the I-know-an-Alien-Club is forced to live with the consequences and adjust to a life where pretending that two of their friends are strangers becomes reality. BOOK ONE // 9th 10th 11th Fanfiction ~~ 'Who am I?' That is the question Elizabeth Smith has been asking herself since she can remember. Literally. Elisabeth was 5 when she was found, with no memories of what happened before she ended in that sinister alley, in London. She was an orphan. Her chance to start a relatively 'normal' life in the orphanage goes crumbling to pieces due to the strangeness that constantly surrounds her. Soon after her arrival, Elizabeth becomes an outcast. All because of her strangely eery, though beautiful dreams. Dreams about the Daleks, Cybermen and a man in a blue box, travelling through time and space. But are these dreams true? Is the Doctor, the mad man from her dreams, real? That's what she thinks until she meets him. Their encounters go from an accidental meeting on the street to an art exhibition in her room, when he shows up at the orphanage in the middle of the night. What will happen when he'll find out about her dreams? WIll Lizzie finally have her questions answered? About who she is, who her parents were and why they abandoned her with nothing but a strange jammed watch to keep her company? Lizzie will have to travel through time and space, meet people and aliens, friends of the Doctor and all of his different regenerations. All under a false identity, in an attempt to prevent a collapse in the time's continuum. What will happen when she will fall in love with her childhood hero, as she bounces from timeline to timeline and discovers things about his past? She'll have to figure this all out as quickly as she can, for she doesn't have much time left: with every second that passes, her end crawls closer and closer... The aliens came here for one thing, and one thing only.... Females. ( This story is only available through inkitt or galatea!!!) (some read events may apply) (check update chapter for more details!) Humans believed they were the only intelligent life to exist... that it was impossible for another species to evolve in a way where they could prevail in something as great as space travel. humans believed they were supposed to be the most technologically advanced species and the alpha predators... They were wrong. The Xandisians evolved in ways humans never could have imagined, they are natural-born killers with phenomenal strength and agility. Their kind never went through the same devolution as humans, they never lost their natural instincts to hunt, kill, or breed. With their limitless potential and monstrous strength, they faced few threats and could survive almost any threat that befall their species, almost. After an incurable sickness washes over the planet of xanadis, the majority of the female, young and elderly, and vulnerable population is all but wiped out, leaving a small portion of the male population to face the threat of extinction. With no choice but to look to the stars for a means to save their kind from complete annihilation, the xandisians set out to find a race compatible with their own. after many years and countless failed expeditions, they finally find a species that matches their base DNA on a planet called Earth. The only issue now is how humans will react. (Book 2 LTF series) (CAN be read as a stand alone, but not recommended for nostalgia reasons~) (ps this is UNEDITED, grammar and spelling mistakes will ensue!) (NOTE: THIS IS ITS OWN STORY NOT A CONTINUATION. SAME CHARACTERS BUT DIFFERENT PLOT.)(Last to fall au/spin-off)

It started with a pacifier. Liz Parker might have just been a toddler, but the war was nevertheless on. It did not help matters that her sworn enemy, the pacifier-thief, became best friends with her big brother, forcing them to occupy the same areas on more than one occasion. Would they ever declare peace or would they go on fighting forever? SNAPSHOT is the story about a boy and a girl, brought together again and again by circumstance. The tale of Liz and Max is portrayed through moments, so called snapshots. The snapshots are interlaced to tell a story about love and hate, the emotional up and downs of life and the difficult task of growing up. Author's Note: The characters are loosely based on the characters from the TV-show "Roswell". This story does not feature any aliens (or anything of supernatural nature) and the characters are placed in an alternate universe/plot. *Since the story revolves around snapshots, the chapters will not be sequential.* Disclaimer: This story is a work of fiction. Any references to historical events, real people, or real locales are used fictitiously. Other names, characters, places, and incidents are the product of the author's imagination, and any resemblance to actual events or locales or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. The characters of Roswell belong to its founder - Jason Katims, Twentieth Century Fox Corporation, Regency Entertainment, and Monarchy B.V.
