Troye Sivan moved to La Crescent, Minnesota when he was six, which meant he had to leave all of his friends behind. Though it seemed like the end of the world to Troye then, it turned out to be alright as he met a boy named Connor Franta on his first day to 1st grade at his new school.

Skip forward twelve years, and now now both Troye and Connor are Seniors at Benford Highschool. Troye is gay, but only his family know. But what happens when Connor may be homophobic even though he is gay himself? Can Troye make Connor accept himself and their friendship blossom into something new, or will their friendship burn?
