Illumi is given an unusual mission for an elite assassin that he is. Find and bring home the daughter of a tribal leader from an extremely secluded land far to the north called Terradmira. Why was he given this task? Who is this girl? He will soon find out the role she will eventually play in his life and the trouble that comes with the seemingly limitless power she possesses. The Terradmirian girl is not an average Nen user, nor has she paid much attention to it. What was not mentioned in the mission details given to Illumi is that she is the reincarnation of an ancient being with immense power. This being has existed for centuries, only to be reborn every hundreds of years. Each reincarnation has all of the memories of the ones before. Being overwhelmed and confused by these memories, the girl finds that she is unsure of what to do and what her purpose is, causing her to go on the run. The long haired assassin and the girl are in for a surprise upon completion of the mission. Once they return back to the Zoldyck manor, the real plan is revealed and the two learn of the real situation they are put in. ****** This is my first time writing a fanfic. I chose Illumi because I feel that there aren't enough Illumi x reader stories out there and that he is a very complex character. I am always open to any input you may want to offer or if you just want to say hi and show some support. The people she meets, one magician in particular, lead her down a new life of freedom, fun, and quite a bit of lust. This story is a Hisoka x OC story that will run through the entire show and manga, including parts from the One Shot: Hisoka's Past. I will do my best to keep everything cannon, please feel free to correct me if I mess up something. Content warning: This story is rated mature for a reason. There will be mention (no details though) of human trafficking, fight scenes with descriptive gore, and a healthy dose of smut of course ;) In chapters with sex scenes, I will give a warning (or clue, depending on what you're here for) at the top of the chapter. It begins as a type of origin story for you and him both. You guys are growing up together and you are the only person alive that gets to knows him so well. It also helps that you look almost exactly like his dead sister. Eventually he will become like an older brother to you. He takes care of you and gains your trust, and you his. Though, as your story progresses and you near the age of 18 you find yourself thrust into totally new circumstances whilst taking the Hunter Exam... Also, Hisoka dosent call you "sissy" or "sister" anymore, instead calling you "Love". You have enough self respect that you'd never even think about dating a clown, who also happens to be your coworker, confidant, and best friend? Right? WRONG. Still, Let's see how exactly this all goes down. Story is now finished. Sequel called Keys to the Kingdom is out. Go check it out!
