The Sky Runs

Skylar Cadence has been abused her whole life by the person she loathes the most- her mother. When her father died a couple of years ago, she has complete faith that it was her mother who took his life, leaving her in a stage of grieving and what seems to be endless years of misery. At 17, after calling for help, Skylar is found by a group of runaways led by a pair of siblings, Nikolai and her brother Titan, who reach out to Skylar and help her to being free. This group of runaways is may seem normal, free from school, family, and are able to do whatever they want, whenever they want. It seems like a dream, but at a free cost?
She is trained for self defense and learns how to use weapons she finds this rather peculiar. Everybody at the runaway manor do one of two things, they either work for money, or they steal from the rich. But at the age of 18 all runaways prove themselves in a horrific way, and if they don't like that strategy they are forced to leave.
The group of runaways keep a secret from her, a terrifying secret she is yet to learn. All of the runaways are Meurtriers.

The Sky Runs is the first book in the Runaways Saga. It contains a mystery, with horror and terror at the end.
