Not all modern vampires are glorified, silent warriors. Some are simply just using their newfound powers to terrorize people they feel deserve it.
"Some" are for example me. I am no angel in disguise. Rather the opposite, actually. I have after decades on the run, finally found my way back home, and I am here to get sweet, sweet revenge on a few people, regardless of who I push with them in the fall. It is great being superior!
