❝If you wanted to get into my pants so bad, I'm sure you could've come up with a more creative way of doing it.❞ Working part-time at a country club isn't Declan Grey's idea of summer fun. When he gets ousted as one of the guys who stole Bulldog Baxter, the pet mascot of their university's across town rivals, he's forced to take up a job to get back into the good graces of his family and coaches. He has to trade in his life of partying to show everyone that he's completely turned around his attitude. Only then, will he maybe be considered into being let back onto the football team before next season starts. Kendall Rivers isn't too keen on accepting a job offer to the country club two cities over. But when she has no other option than to work for the group of golfers she hustled money from, there's no room for argument. It's an offer she can't refuse. But as a new recruit, she doesn't want to work with other people, especially some doofus named 'Grey'.

"This was just supposed to be summer fun. That was what we agreed on." I tried to talk to him as he was vigorously shaking his head, tearing his gaze away from me. "You were never just a summer fun to me." He stared into my eyes and I felt exposed because I might have developed some feelings for him that I've never wanted to face. Heddy Lopez has just barely graduated and is trying to find the purpose of her life when her friends take her away for the summer before they go on separate ways.
