Lauren left her hometown twelve years ago, and hasn't seen any of her friends for ten years now. Since she had last seen them, a lot of things had changed in their lives. She's had two children, plenty of break ups, and a lot of disappointments in life.
Thinking she had nothing left for her in New York, Lauren takes her two children with her and moves back to the Tempe, Arizona, where she realizes that the feelings she thought had died long ago has actually just been dormant for the last two decades.
Now, Lauren finds herself struggling to suppress all the questions left unanswered decades ago, and resisting to give into her feelings towards her best friend-all while she's trying to find herself and fit back into her old life.
