I stopped.

"You can't just run away from this. We have to work this out. It's killing me!"

I quickly ran up the stairs to the floor Harry was on.

"Hayley!" he said as I stopped in front of him.

This was it. Now or never.

I stood up on my tiptoes and kissed him on the lips. The moment our lips touched, I felt guilty. I felt guilty for betraying Dallas, twice. He waited all his life for me, and I just betrayed him, like that.
