A person who can see things that are in no way normal sees all creatures and monsters starting a revolution against humanity. She can't do anything that she knows of, until she gets confronted by Death himself. He says that if she follows the terms he laid out, he will stop the invasion, but if she didn't comply, she would forcefully be done so.
She didn't have to reply right away, but was suggested to do so before the carnival is over. Now she has the decision to make to save herself or humanity.
But don't forget to have fun at the carnival.

I was mid rewrite on this book so at some point the story jumps and shifts gears. Sorry not sorry. I'll adjust eventually. He watches from the shadows as the girl whose magic could make the world stop turning finally decides to light the match and watch the world burn around her.
